[When she gets home she finds him in the lab, of course. Instead of intruding right away she just stands in the doorway and watches him work, a terribly fond smile on her face.]
[ She'd find him hunched over his desk, frantically jotting something down on a scrap of paper. He's not even sitting, like he stopped just to make a simple note and got too involved to remember simple things like sitting. The white board nearby is crammed full of scattered notes and calculations. Several books and a laptop sit open around him, on whatever flat surface could be found. He doesn't even notice her. Not even when he pauses, head lifting to stare at the wall opposite him. He mutters something, eyebrows knitted together, before going back to jot more down. Completely absorbed in his work. ]
[Her eyes skim the desk, the white board, before moving back to her husband. He’s completely absorbed in his work. He hasn’t even noticed her. He really is incredibly adorable. But it’s time to draw him back out a little.
She moves deeper into the lab, until she’s close enough to touch him, her hand settling on the small of his back and gently gliding upwards along the line of his spine. Leaning in, she kisses him on the cheek.]
[ He glanced up at her first touch, but barely. He wanted to say "just a moment" but instead just quickly started jotting down what he thought he might lose. Only when her lips touched his cheek did he seem to fully register her presence. His pen finally stopped.
His arm slid around her waist as he put the pen down. Suddenly whatever it was he'd been so eager to get down didn't seem to matter as much. ]
[She adores this man. Has almost from the moment she met him. He is endearing in every way. With a contented little sigh as his arm slides around her waist she leans into him, kissing him properly this time, a gentle press of her lips to his.]
Of course I did. With you as my incentive how could I not?
[And she doesn’t even mean his text. She just means him. ]
[ As they kissed, it was like all of the worries of the world vanished with a single breath. They slid right off his shoulders, leaving him lighter than air. At her words, he slowly opened his eyes, and blinked for a few moments. More than a little confused. ]
What incentive?
OH! The...the text.
[ He dipped his head, blushing visibly, before dropping his pen onto his desk. ]
I suppose we should move this to the bedroom, then.
For onlystarisee
I look forward to it!
[ He might already be distracted. Started something in an attempt to forget his embarrassment and got in too deep. Oops. ]

I didn’t mean the text.
I just mean you. You are all the reason I need to hurry home, Harrison Wells.

I wouldn't want to steal you away from your very important work, Tess Morgan.
[ It was his turn to kiss her. But there was nothing brief about it. A slow, gentle, loving kiss. ]

[She sighs softly, happily, and kisses him back, hands lifting to cradle his face in her hands.]
